Health program

EPI Program:

Name of the program: Extended immunization program

· Implementing the program: Upazila Health and Welfare Officer and all the health workers under it.

· Financing and other subsidiaries: Ministry of Health and Finance, World Health Organization.

Symptoms and Methods: Providing immunization against five diseases of children and prevention of nocturnal diseases and malnutrition through vitamin A capsule. Maternal and newborn baby tetanus immunization measures through the mother's KT vaccine. Vitamin A deficiency is supplemented by breastfeeding mothers and newborn babies by feeding them vitamin A capsules. The main goal is to reduce infant consumption and mortality.
· Beneficiary population covered: All women aged 5-7 years and all children aged 6-8 months.

E&C Program:

Name of the program: delivery service

Implementing the program: Upazila Health and Public Officer and doctors and nurses of hospitals affiliated to EOC.

· Financing and other auxiliaries - Ministry of Health and Finance, UNICEF.

Objectives and Procedures - Safe motherhood, risk-free delivery and reducing infant and maternal mortality rates.

· Beneficiary population covered - all pregnant mothers.

ARI Program:

· Program Name - ARI.

· Implementing the program: All the doctors of the institute, including the caretaker / upazila health and paid officer,

Medical Assistant, Pharmacist, Nurse.

· Financing and other auxiliaries - Ministry of Health and Finance, UNICEF.

The goal is also to reduce the incidence and treatment of pneumonia and respiratory diseases in children.

· Beneficiary groups covered: All children.

TB and Leprosy Control Program:

Name of the Program: Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program.

· Program Manager: BRAC and Health Department jointly.

· Financing and other subsidiaries: Ministry of Health and Finance.

· Objectives: Methods: The main objective is to identify open cases and prevent disease by providing medical treatment

Control

· Beneficiary communities covered: All the people of Bangladesh.

Arsenic program:

Name of the program: Arsenicosis diagnosis program.

Implementation of the program: Upazila Health and Public Officers and all the health workers under it.

· Financing and other subsidiaries: Ministry of Health and Finance.

Aims and Procedures: The main goal is to diagnose and treat arsenicosis.

· Beneficiary communities covered: All communities.

In addition, medical care is provided for all other diseases.
