Notice of Local Government Day Celebration 2023
Details
The government will observe 'National Local Government Day' every year on 25th February. This day will be observed to create public awareness and increase public involvement with local government institutions. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Cabinet Department on Thursday.
Local Government Day will be observed on 5 September 2023 at local level and national level due to National Mourning Day in February despite Local Government Day falling on 25 February.
